About
Anna and Kristina founded Marka + Landsby with a common passion for supporting our local ecosystem and healthy living. The gardens we design are not only beautiful--they are created with the health of plant life and animals in mind. We use native, wildlife supporting plants that require less watering and no use of chemicals. The buildings we renovate and create are not only beautiful--for human health, we choose building sites where people can get exercise by walking and biking to destinations. We also build to Passive House standards, which stipulate high energy efficiency and good indoor air quality.

LAWN CARE AND SEASONAL
Marka + Landsby will keep your property looking beautiful with lawn and seasonal maintenance for a variety of outdoor spaces.  To protect your health and enjoyment of the outdoors, we use clean (no more exhaust fumes in your yard!) and quiet electric equipment and no chemicals ever.  You can trust that your yard is safe for family, friends, pets, and wildlife.
PLANTER AND VEGETABLE GARDEN DESIGN
We offer full-service decorative planter styling, providing it all--from the vessels to the plants to the design. Â We also provide vegetable garden consultation, design and build. Â Let us introduce you to the joys of growing your own vegetables!

Our small scale real estate projects support walkable communities.  We create welcoming buildings that are sustainable and healthy following Passive House principles--sustainable because they run on little energy and are fully electric--healthy because they are built with low VOC materials and are well ventilated with filtered fresh air.  We hope you will live or work or play in one of our beautiful spaces.
